2018 had been a historical year for One Child’s Voice. We have had amazing growth in volunteers, hours volunteered, and donations. The Board has grown to include 2 new members, Kevin Brekka & Derl Curry III. 2018 has been a year of reorganization, growth, and accomplished goals. One Child’s Voice has expanded it’s social media reach, including a refreshed website. We give credit to these accomplishments to God and the support from all of our volunteers, donors, and supporters. We can’t thank you enough.
As we look back at 2018 and remember all of the great things that God has done for us and the children we have helped, we also look to the future. We know that how far we have come is wonderful but we believe there is much more to do. We are hopeful that we can have an even bigger impact on not only the local foster care system but the state of North Carolina and even the Nation’s foster care system. There is a great need in every aspect of the foster care system. There are over 10,000 children in foster care in North Carolina alone, and over 400,000 in the U.S. The need is there, and we pray that God will bless us to be able to make an impact the lives of these children.
Please join us in prayer for the children in broken homes, in foster care, and the children that go to sleep every night praying that they will be adopted into a family that loves them.
